Ich hebe ein Xoro 350 .. Da erscheint auch nur kurz der Startbildschirm und dann kommt nichts mehr.... mit der SD Karte eingeschaltet kommt nur eine weiße linie die man nach oben in 6 stufen verstellen kann....

nach zigmaligen Flashen ist es mir jetzt endgültig gelungen mein Radio wieder zu beleben. Habe jetzt allerdings Angst es auszuschalten. Für deine Ratschläge bin ich dir sehr dankbar habe auch 20 € gespendet.

nachdem ich die SD karte nur mit der fs_fsrec Datei und einer neuen Firmware V1.52 aufgespielt habe ins Root Verzeichnis, hatte ich wieder einen Bootloader. Natürlich gleich auf eine neue Firmware Version geflasht, aber der Bildschirm blieb schwarz. Versuche es nun mit dem Recovery aber habe keine img Datei wo bekomme ich die her.

habe auf der SD Karte noch andere Dateien, außer der Listenlive Firmware kann es daran liegen das er den recovery nicht durchführen kann.Allerdings liegen die Files auf dem Root der SD Karte.

Regarding option 1:
If you have once installed the listenlive recovery mode then the alternate boot option mentioned at 2 should be present.
This means holding the two outer buttons and inserting the power cable should give you the listenlive menu with the recovery option enabled.

Regarding Option 2:
The recovery option directly fro mthe manufacturer is only present on some devices: Xoro and Envivo.

Regarding Option 4:
Look for attaching a serial console to for example the NSLU2 device. The interface and method is the same.
You need to connect to J4 on the main PCB.
Note that some devices (half of the Arnova devices around) have the serial boot disabled. So they do not output anything and it will not be possible to fix the device this way.
Also, devices with the RM003 marking are so problematic that the chance of getting it fixed is 1-5%.

Note that this is so time consuming that I have stopped fixing devices this way. The time spend on a device simply outwights the value of the device itself.
You are free to ask but dont expect wonders.

danke für deine Antwort. Habe deshalb drei Anfragen gestartet weil ich die ersten + zweiten Posts nicht im Forum nach aktualisieren der Webside sah, also sorry.  Nun wieder zum einem Problem, im ersten Posts erwähnte ich schon das ich die V1.47 draufhabe und ich meine auch die REcovery Version installiert zu haben. Aber im Moment scheint diese nicht möglich zu sein. Deine 1, 2, und 3 Antwort kann ich damit nicht umsetzen. Die 4 Antwort interresiert mich allerdings eine serielle Schnittstelle am Mainboard einlöten. Hatte dazu genauere Anweisungen wenn es geht.Zeit ist genug da (Rentner) Linux würde ich in einer virtuellen Umgebung unter Windows laufen lassen also kein Problem. Jetzt nur noch die genaue Erläuterung des Vorgehens wäre hilfreich. Danke im Voraus.

Seriously? Do you really need to post 3 messages to tell you have a problem?
Anyway, your device is finaly cought by the timebomb. All SkyTC devices (Arnova/Pearl/Envivo/Xoro etc.) have this issue.

It might be caused by something inside the bootloader or kernel. In any case, memory gets corrupted and the device will fail to boot up correctly.

Option 1: have you previously installed the "listenlive recovery mode"?
       No => go to 2 
      Yes => you can use the listenlive recovery to fix via SD card.

Option 2: press and hold the two outside buttons and insert the power cable. Your device boots and comes with a recovery question? 
     No => go to 3 
     Yes =>There are some options to fix the device via a recovery image. However, we dont have one for Pearl. go to 3.

Option 3: You have a lot of spare time, soldering skills, knowledge of Linux?
     No => go to 4
     Yes, open the device and solder a serial interface to the mainboard and start messing around.

Option 4: Open the trashcan and throw it in.

 

Hallo, habe 2013 die akt. Firmware v1.47 installiert. Danach ging alles einwandfrei. Gestern ging das Radio nicht mehr an. (b.z.w.) hing im Bootvorgang. Radio geht nachdem ich den Powerknopf gedrückt habe auch an geht kurzzeitig aus und wieder an und hier hängt es sich dann auf. Bitte um Hilfe habe hier im Board was von Recovery Möglichkeit gelesen.
